BenephaRx is a B2B marketplace for licensed retail pharmacies in Ghana. To register, your pharmacy must hold a valid Ghana Pharmacy Council (GPC) licence and you must be authorised to place wholesale orders on its behalf. Individual consumers cannot purchase medicines on this platform.

During registration you will be asked to upload your GPC licence, FDA Ghana registration certificate, and proof of business address. Go to Profile & KYC to track your verification stepper: Registration Submitted → GPC Licence Verified → Documents Reviewed → Account Activated. Full marketplace access (including BNPL) is unlocked once your account is activated.

Most pharmacy accounts are reviewed within 1–3 business days after all documents are submitted. You will receive email and in-app notifications at each verification stage. If verification is delayed, ensure your uploaded documents are clear, unexpired, and match the pharmacy name on your registration.

Yes. You can browse the catalogue, view supplier profiles, and compare prices while your KYC is pending. However, placing orders and accessing BNPL requires a fully activated account.

Browse the catalogue or use the search bar in the navbar to find medicines. Add items to your cart, review quantities and suppliers at checkout, then confirm payment via MTN MoMo. Orders are sent to the wholesaler once payment is secured in escrow. You can also reorder quickly from Orders & Reorders.

Near-Expiry Deals are discounted medicines with shorter remaining shelf life, listed by verified suppliers to reduce waste. Each listing shows the expiry date and batch details. These are ideal for fast-moving items. All near-expiry stock is fully batch-traceable — scan the QR code on receipt to confirm authenticity.

Standing Orders automate recurring wholesale purchases. Set a supplier, product list, quantity, and frequency (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). Orders are created the night before the scheduled date and you receive a notification to approve them before payment is taken. You can pause or cancel a standing order at any time from the Standing Orders page.

Yes. Your cart can contain items from different verified wholesalers. At checkout, orders are split by supplier — each supplier fulfils their portion independently. MoMo escrow protects each payment until you confirm receipt of goods.

Use the search icon in the navbar to search by product name, active ingredient, or brand. On the catalogue page you can filter by category, sort by popularity or price, and browse Top Sellers or Near-Expiry Deals from the navigation links.

When you pay via MTN Mobile Money at checkout, funds are held in escrow — not released to the supplier immediately. The supplier is paid only after you confirm delivery and batch verification. If there is a dispute, BenephaRx can hold or reverse the escrow payment while the issue is resolved.

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) lets eligible pharmacies defer payment for up to 30 days. To qualify, you need 90 days of order history on BenephaRx and a fully verified account. Your credit limit is set at 1.5× your average monthly spend. Check your eligibility and credit status on the Finance & BNPL page. Repayments are collected automatically via MTN MoMo.

Ensure your MTN MoMo wallet has sufficient balance and that you approve the prompt on your phone within the timeout window. If payment fails, the order is not placed and no funds are deducted. Wait a few minutes and retry, or contact your mobile money provider if the issue persists. Your cart items are preserved.

Go to Finance & BNPL and open the Escrow & Payment History tab. Here you can see all MoMo transactions, escrow releases, BNPL repayments, and outstanding balances. You can also export records for your pharmacy accounts.

Open Orders & Reorders to see the status of every order: Pending Approval, Confirmed, Dispatched, In Transit, Delivered, or Completed. You will receive WhatsApp and in-app notifications at key milestones. Contact the supplier directly via their profile page if you need delivery updates.

Use Batch Traceability to scan the QR code on each product carton or strip at receipt. The scan confirms batch number, manufacturer, expiry date, and FDA registration number in under 3 seconds. Always verify before accepting delivery and releasing escrow payment.

Do not confirm delivery or release escrow payment. Document the discrepancy with photos, then contact BenephaRx support via WhatsApp within 48 hours of receipt. Open a dispute from the order detail page if available. Escrow funds remain protected until the issue is resolved.

If a batch you purchased is subject to an FDA Ghana recall, you will receive an urgent notification on your dashboard and via WhatsApp. The recall banner on your dashboard shows affected batch numbers. Quarantine recalled stock immediately and follow the instructions provided. BenephaRx coordinates with suppliers on returns and refunds for recalled batches.

Go to Team Management and click Invite Team Member. Enter their name, email, phone, and assign a role. A temporary password is generated for their first login — share it securely. They will be required to change their password on first sign-in. Only users with team management permissions can invite or remove members.

Roles control what each team member can do — for example, placing orders, viewing finance, managing inventory, or inviting other users. Your pharmacy administrator can create custom roles under the Roles & Permissions tab in Team Management. Predefined roles may include Pharmacist, Dispensary Technician, and Accounts.

Most profile fields can be updated under Profile & KYC. Your pharmacy name is managed by the platform — contact support to request a name change. To upload a renewed GPC or FDA certificate, use the Documents section on your profile page.

Click Forgot Password on the login page and enter your registered email. You will receive a reset link valid for a limited time. If you are already logged in, you can also request a reset from Profile & KYC under the Security section.
